Job Summary:
Dialysis RN for a dialysis unit in a healthcare organization. This position involves performing Hemodialysis treatments within an acute care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to established protocols, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires flexibility in shift scheduling and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Saturday, with the option to do a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts to meet a total of 36 hours per week. Shifts are dayshift only, with every Saturday coverage required.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA); Minimum one year of dialysis experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Perform Hemodialysis treatments in the dialysis unit.
  • Operate within the Electronic Medical Record system Epic.
  • Coverage includes rotation among shifts; includes holiday rotations (Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day).
  • First to float within the unit.
  • Scrub color/dress code: Royal Blue and White Scrubs.
  • Orientation involves 3 shifts.
  • No use of Medical Assistants or CNAs for this role.
