Job Description

We are hiring a contract 3D artist to own our stylized asset pipeline end-to-end, from originating 2D concepts through modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating in 3D, delivered as pre-rendered animation.

Responsibilities

• Originate 2D concept art for main app character and new in-app assets.
• Build our main character's hero package: model, texture, and rig in 3D. including a facial expression system, and deliver the three-view design sheets, expression set, and pose studies that anchor the catalog's canon.
• Author microinteraction, emote, and hero-object animation sets.
• Render and export shipped animation as flipbook loops (animated WebP) within published frame and duration budgets, with frame counts recorded per loop.
• Ship a designed static-settle frame for every animated piece as a first-class deliverable, the reduced-motion presentation, designed rather than extracted.
• Deliver to the file standards: separated render layers where specified, plus the editable masters (3D scenes and layered 2D files).vNo engine-locked outputs: Unreal Engine and Unity workflows or packages are not acceptable deliverables.
• Keep the masters migration-ready: sensible topology, named rig controls, and clip organization that a future real-time pipeline could consume without rework.
• Design original work only.
